I'm a self taught landscape painter in oils and watercolours.

A countryman at heart, I gained much help from renowned artist John Lines RSMA.

I began painting watercolours some thirty years ago, oil painting coming later.

I enjoy painting direct from nature in a loose impressionist style.....

I love painting flower pictures too, for the sheer joy of using more vibrant colours just as much as a dour day landscape.....

I really enjoy seeking out suitable views in villages and country lanes whether in the Cotswolds or local to me here in Northamptonshire.
