Barbara Gundle - Spotted Chicken Studio
The Spotted Chicken Ceramics Studio, based in Wappenham near Towcester, is run by Barbara Gundle.
Having always enjoyed the art of pottery, she discovered her love of pottery painting some 15 years ago and decided to make her hobby into a viable business.
‘What’s so great about pottery painting is that you can produce something beautiful that also has a use.
I enjoy creating every day items that lighten up live in small ways.’
She offers a wide range of pottery painting classes from regular weekly classes for experienced painters to sessions for mums and toddlers and birthday parties. She also takes commissions and sells her work from her studio.
This exhibition focuses on the best and most beautiful earthenware and stoneware pottery painted in the studio over the last year.
‘The range and style you can achieve on this medium is endless, and that’s part of the fun’.
