Clay sculpture artist inspired by nature and the countryside.
Annabel uses the heavier ‘crank’ clay allowing the texture to show through the piece to keep a raw, natural quality. She concentrates on the flow of lines in each piece so that the overall form pleases the eye while reflecting the true character from nature.
Inspired by both her love of nature and the countryside she works to produce realistic wild life pieces such as hares, otters and birds, amongst many. Local country churches have also been the inspiration for her more dramatic work echoing local church gargoyles.
She has exhibited her work in a Northamptonshire Gallery since 2009
